Shen Yueshuang was born in February 1975 in Huangshi, Hubei, and graduated from Wuhan Institute of Physical Education. She is currently an Associate Professor at Beijing Institute of Technology, an International-Level Judge, and Vice President and Head Coach of the Haidian District Tai Chi Association in Beijing. She began dedicated tai chi training in 1993. In 1999, she achieved an extraordinary triple victory, winning the individual championship, team championship at the National Championships, and the Tai Chi gold medal at the World Wushu Championships — all in the same year. After retiring from competition, she has devoted herself to university-level tai chi education, public fitness promotion, international cultural exchange, and the standardization of tai chi practice. She participated in drafting the international standard for 'Basic Technical Specifications of Tai Chi Movements' and has conducted teaching tours abroad on multiple occasions.
