Litha, also known as the pagan midsummer festival, is one of the eight sabbats in the Wheel of the Year celebrated by modern pagans and Wiccans. It falls on or near the summer solstice (June 20–23) and honors the height of the Sun's power, abundance, and the turning point toward the darker half of the year.
